Lag Boheme Quarterly has no advertising, no tracking cookies and no user accounts for readers. This page lists everything the site does collect.
Reading the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store your IP address and doesn't follow you across other sites. We only see totals, such as page views and referring sites.
Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
Commenting
When you post a comment we store the name you give, your comment and the time you posted it. We don't ask for your email address and we don't store your IP address.
To keep out spam, the comment form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of automation. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser signals to do this. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice.
Comments stay on the site until they're removed. Comments that are rejected as spam or deleted are erased completely after 30 days.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is held by Buttondown, the service that sends the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any issue. See Buttondown's privacy policy.
Your requests
To have a comment removed, or for any question about your data, contact the editor. A dedicated contact address will be listed here shortly.
